VF-1 Crosskart
The VF-1 Crosskart is a popular single-seat, homebuilt off-road buggy designed by KJ Raycing for DIY enthusiasts. It’s built around a tubular steel frame with full independent suspension delivering a smooth, ride over rough terrain, trails, jumps, —far beyond what a basic go-kart offers.
Precision Fast-Build Kits and Parts
These kits were designed during our builds to help make the processes faster, now id like to offer them to everyone. These fast-build kits help dramatically reduce the assembly time of your VF-1 Crosskart. There are several kits available all compatible with KJ’s build plans. Purchasing all of the various kits will save you many hours of custom fab time and allow for a drop in solution to get your VF-1 up and running!
Professionally Designed
Whether you’re dropping in a reliable Predator 500, a torquey Raptor 700, or a high-revving KTM 525, our kits are engineered around real-world engines. The result? Faster assembly, better performance, cleaner packaging, and an awesome-looking install that just works.

3D Scanning
To create the most accurate and user-friendly laser cut fast-build kits possible, we used high-resolution 3D scanning technology. Digitally capturing the exact engine geometry to ensure a perfect fit!
CAD Design
Every fast-build kit starts with detailed, purpose-built CAD models. Allowing for finished kits that go together straight and true with minimal adjustments—saving you countless hours of measuring, fitting, and tweaking during assembly.
Revision Control
When you buy a kit from us, you’re getting the benefit of real-world feedback from the builder community, combined with methodical engineering updates. all while keeping parts backward-compatible whenever possible.
In-House Prototyping
Before any design goes to laser-cut steel, we validate it right here in our shop using advanced in-house prototyping.
C02 Laser Cutting
We utilize CO2 lasers to precisely cut scale models and full-size mockup components from wood, acrylic, and MDF to closely match what a steel part would be without the cost. Allowing for really fast development.
3D Printing
At the same time, our 3D printers produce detailed plastic prototypes of complex parts like engine mounts, rear spools, and custom brackets. This allows us to physically test fitment, clearances, ergonomics, and assembly sequences long before the first steel tube is cut.

Value for Money
We want to solve only problems worth tackling. Custom fabrication is part of the fun and we understand that. We made kits and parts that we wanted during our builds to help speed things up while making a better crosskart!
Product Testing
We built 4 Vf-1 Crosskarts, allowing for perfect product testing. Each kart was different, two with KTM 525 engines, one with a Raptor 700 engine, and last one with a Predator 500 engine. This allowed us to validate our designs with the most common setups!
Ease of Assembly
We’ve tried to keep things simple. kits that are intuitive to assembly. That being said, all kits come this assembly instructions included that are emailed to you upon order completion.
